Previously, he served as Minister for International relations at the Chancellery of the President of Poland (2010-2015). He was also Acting Director General of the Speaker of Sejm (Lower Chamber of the Parliament 2007-2010).
From 2005 to 2007, he was Advisor to the Deputy Speaker of Sejm. He was also a freelance journalist (2003-2007) and diplomat (1998-2003) He graduated from Warsaw University and the University of Hamburg.
